These books are wonderful for young/early readers. The story is funny, and the illustrations are silly. I have given these books as gifts many times and also use them in my reading mentoring. Kids love them.I am a first grade teacher and Pigeon is a favorite character in my classroom. The books are funny and the repetition is great for getting young readers to interact with the text. I have lots of friends with toddlers and have given this set as a gift many times. It is perfect for little hands, and I like that that each book contains the full story.This was a requested gift.My son LOVES THESE BOOKS! he was excited to put up the poster on his wall!Cute stories! My almost 3 yr old knows them by heart.My son loves his Pigeon and Duck books! I gifted him these to encourage him to continue reading. He has become the top reader in his class and I'm so proud of him.To strengthen my granddaughter's reading ability and encourage her to read more.She loves the pigeon books!For nearly £20 this is a total rip-off! I thought you were going to be getting at least 5 or 6 books in Mo Willems' fantastic "pigeon" series, but for that price you only get "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus", "The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog" and "Don't Let the Pigeon Stay up Late". Not only that, but these books are really small - not the size that they would be if you purchased them individually. Disappointing to say the least!All of Mo Willems' stuff is very entertaining for children and adults alike, but the Pigeon series especially so. This trilogy is a nice gift to give someone as a starter for their own Pigeon library. The classic Bus book is still the best!We love the pigeon books and these are Brilliant. The concept is so simple but I haven't met a kid who doesn't get a kick out of them.
